Eloise Mayer is a young girl with a doctorate degree in astrology studies. Eloise was told how expensive it was to travel to Pluto, and she wanted to deliver, so she was given the chance to travel. She was to go on this journey with Aiden Geth. On Pluto, visitors had to wear spacesuits due to the planet's condition. Eloise was scared to death of the thought of what radiation could do to a person's body if the space suit or dome failed. Ahmed guided Aiden and Eloise on this investigation on Pluto. Trevor Ikeda, a Japanese man in his forties was found dead in a room. Eloise, Ahmed, and Aiden were to go into investigation and find out what was behind the death of Trevor Ikeda.

Eloise had incredible investigative skills and I loved how she was able to connect the dots regarding Trevor Ikeda's death. Janice was also a support system and helped Eloise during the investigation. I loved her courage and the openness she showed in this book despite the horrific experiences. She was courageous and never shied away from any challenge, even in the danger of losing her life. She had a strong personality even though she had faced tragedies in her life. I loved her passion for astrology, and I'm sure it would encourage readers to pay more attention to astrology. I also loved how simple the astrological terms in this book were, as the author made sure not to use complex terms that may confuse readers. This book's character development was excellent.

Regarding ratings, I give Persephone's Pool by Marie Montine a rating of five out of five stars for the reasons I mentioned earlier. I disliked nothing about this book. This book's editing process was excellent, as I found no grammatical errors. I recommend this book to readers who love books with plot narratives centred around crime investigation.
