"Hate Crime" by Richard B. Standridge is a gripping thriller set during the COVID-19 pandemic, where Detective Steven Ryan investigates a wave of racially motivated assaults on Chinese women. Timely, intense, and eye-opening. Congratulations on being BOTD!

It seems that any national or international crisis, with the proof of history, brings about racial tension. Covid brought this about and now the immigration crisis. The reviewer did a good job in describing the book and mentions the editing. Seems like an interesting book.

I'm glad I read this review first, I don't think I've read many post-COVID's-existence novels and I'm particularly curious about what ideas and views the author was expressing that didn't feel pushed unto the reader.

Considering everything that happened during the COVID-19 era, I'd love to read Hate Crime: A Contemporary Thriller About the Evil of Racially Motivated Hate Crime in the Midst of a Global Pandemic by Richard B. Standridge since it is based on some of those events.

Such a good review. I hope the book describes about racist opinion adjoining the COVID19. It's intresting how the review gives away nothing about the attacker. Guessing it would be an interesting read, thanks for the review.

"Hate Crime" by Richard B. Standridge is a compelling mystery that delves into themes of bias and justice. With its thrilling narrative and authentic characters, the book underscores the perils of hatred while simultaneously presenting a message of hope rooted in bravery, honesty, and the quest for comprehension. :D

:) This is intriguing. As a lover of crime novels and thriller books it ignites my interest in the book as I am eager to know who the perpetrator is. It is just unfortunate for the poor victims. Thank you for the review and I hope the Author edits the book more as adviced. Will definitely check this book out.

The reviewer of "Hate Crime" by Richard B Standridge did a marvelous job, I believe, of summarizing the novel. One of the main things I really approved of was in the first paragraph mentioning how "Although this book is fictional, it raises important questions and reflections..." Unfortunately, racism is still prevalent in our day and age, and the author, and reviewer, wants the readers to know that these issues will likely never fade even with time. Great review!

Even though the story is fictional, it's sad that hate crime still happens to this day. Based on this review I am sure the book will be a good read, it will be worth my time. And I appreciate the fact that the author does not force people to accept his views, but helps his reader to see the consequences of his views. Nice review well done.

I’ve only gone through the first two chapters of Hate Crime sample, but it feels intense and gripping in some sort. It all starts with a scary attack and a strange symbol left behind, which really makes you want to know why it happened puzzled in my state🙌. The two main characters, Detective Ryan and CSI Shui Chen, seem interesting and work well together. It kind of reminds me of real-life hate crimes that have happened around the world, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when Asian communities were unfairly targeted even here in my country. Hence making the story feels realistic in that way showing light on how most of the times hate can drive people to do terrible things. It’s dark, emotional, and definitely makes you want to keep reading 😁 I like it.

One can know more about the some of the attacks that the Chinese people faced during the COVID pandemic by reading the crime novel "Hate Crime" by Richard B Standridge. It appears that exhaustive research was done when writing the book.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
