Thank you for your review. I read the sample. It will take many years to investigate the players in the pandemic. Stories like this highlight the issues that need to be addressed.

One can find eye-opening hints about solutions on how to right the wrongs of our failing healthcare system by reading the book "Death Panels" by Greg Vigdor. I am happy to note that the profits from this book go to a not-for-profit health foundation.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This review truly piqued my interest. I like how it emphasizes the mix of fiction with real world healthcare challenges especially considering it’s not a genre I typically gravitate toward. It’s fascinating that the book combines suspense with deep moral dilemmas surrounding healthcare access. The part about questioning “who gets life saving benefits” really makes me want to explore the entire series.

"Death Panels" by Greg Vigdor presents factual information on challenges and solutions to righting the wrongs of America's failing healthcare system. The author did this by considering the situations of several protagonists guiding the readers to reflect on the subject of focus.

This sounds like an intriguing story. I have read many thrillers but I'm yet to read a medical thriller. I'm tempted to read one now after reading the summary. I'm curious about what will happen to Nancy and how she will get out of the medical prison. And the mystery promises a very interesting read.

This sounds like a fascinating and thought-provoking read! The way it blends a detective story with real-world healthcare issues is really intriguing. I’m definitely interested in diving into it and exploring those moral questions. Congrats BOTD!

Death Panels’ by Greg Vigdor is not your average thriller—it’s a brainy, brutal, and strangely real take on the dark corners of the healthcare world. It starts off like a slow burn, with a mysterious death in Vegas, but quickly spirals into something way deeper: a full-blown war between morality, money, and medicine.

Honestly, there were moments where the pace dipped, and the policy talk got a bit heavy—but I respect the guts it took to write this. Vigdor doesn’t shy away from hard truths. He dives into who gets to live, who doesn’t, and how those decisions are quietly made behind closed doors. That hit me.

It’s not just a story—it’s a mirror to the system. If you’re into thrillers that also make your brain buzz and your heart question things, this one delivers. Not perfect, but powerful.

I will be glad to follow up on this story of political consultant Nancy Jones and her experiences in that strange hospital and a kind of medical prison. I will be glad to grab it and read it. Congratulations, book of the day, "Panels of Death."

A book about the going-ons in a hospital interests me. I am curious how the author integrated Nancy's story with the others.

Thank you for the great review.

I appreciate the fact that the profit made from this book will be donated to a charity course. Based on your review of "Death Panels: One More American Health Policy Detective Story by Greg Vigdor", will be a good read. Thank you for stating it was a fictional story, because I was initially confused.

I really don't think that such a thing as a good health policy exists. Has anyone seen any proof of it or is it just like a UFO? But at least the author was able to create an interesting book series based on "knowledge gained from years of working in hospital administration". Previous parts were quite good, and I expect no less from this one considering the mob and Las Vegas are involved.

As a nurse I greatly enjoy this kind of books, especially considering the big difference between my country and the US when it comes to (public) health. It sounds really interesting and also great for people who don't know much about the healthcare system to get a closer and more intimate look into how it works... It seems like a great read!

The topic related to real-world healthcare issues caught my attention. The author's background is interesting. That being said, this book is definitely well written and well researched. I haven't read many medical-themed books, but I love mysteries. I hope Nancy made it out of the hospital safe. Great review!
