Review- Duma Key by Stephen King

Post by CoolMommaDucky »

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fairly easy read and didn't drag in the middle like some of Stephen King's books seem to do. It was suspenseful and had some horror elements but I wouldn't suggest it if you are looking for something truly scary. Stephen King does a good job developing the characters so you really feel you know them. At the beginning, the main character has suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost an arm in a work accident, the details of his slow recovery seem very realistic and help you sympathize with the main character. I couldn't put this book down. Stephen King still has some tricks up his sleeve. If you have enjoyed his other books, this is one I would definitely recommend.
