This story is really fun! And its plot was completely unexpected! The Three Investigators are enjoying a day off, so to speak, at the local museum. It is actually Children's Day there, and there are plenty of children running around. There is also a very valuable golden belt there. Suddenly, chaos breaks out, and when things calm down, the belt is gone! Everyone is rushed out of the museum and, of course, the children are not investigated. Later on, the boys are called to the attention of an elderly woman who is complaining about seeing gnomes! Is there a connection?? Most definitely!
