I have to honestly say that in a bookstore or browsing online, I wouldn't pick a book like this for myself. Too many subjects I tend to stay away from. But while reading this I was sucked in. I wanted to research the facts the female FBI agent learned to verify and discover just a little more about them. I wanted to have a cup of coffee with Uri and let him talk out some of his issues. I wanted to tell Walid's wife to divorce his scummy two-faced self. I wanted to see how the relationship with the two partners came to be and see how much back-and-forth they got into, how amusing or laugh-out-loud funny it became. All in all it was amazingly written. Very confident descriptions, nothing too obscure. The author appears to have an amazing grasp on the human psyche and understand psychology extremely well. It was a great read. Truly amazing. Not what I expected at all.

I love action novels, but I am not a personal fan of terrorist connections. Normally my reading is an escape from realism, and terrorism is such a threat today that I am worried about the personal connections, so I will pass on this novel. Congrats on BOTD!

So glad that you were able to enjoy this book. I'm still on the fence about reading it myself honestly. On the other hand your review was wonderful, it was full of detail, yet none that gave away any spoilers. I know I personally LOVE thrillers, but I'm a little iffy about novels about spies, detective work, or things like that. I feel like they all fall in the same line and it's been done so many times. Thank you again for your review.

That is an interesting font used on the cover page. Thank you for your detailed review. This doesn't seem like a book I would enjoy a lot.

I'm a fan of this genre. But I'm not sure whether I'll be reading this book as I read a political thriller full of action, espionage, and mystery recently. All the same, thanks for the great review.

This sounds like an exciting story. Spy stories are all too often predictable, so I generally stay away. I might actually read this one.

In the 'Official Review: East Wind, 2nd edition by Jack Winnick' the reviewer's reactions to the book are important. They lead us to reflect on the story and the purpose of the author behind writing a story about terrorism. They strengthen my positive thoughts and opinion about the issue!

The author has done a great job... the characters of this novel are interesting and the themes of war, chaos and terrorism add the spice of the novel.... I fully appreciate it and want to give a special thanks to its auther to write aboit these reality based themes.

Great review. And i agree that the author has done a great job in switching the narrative perspective from one character to another.

It will be interesting to read on some of the ways the US and Israeli governments are doing to thwart the infiltration from the terrorists. Thanks for an insightful review.

Weaving through the review, there are a couple questions I asked myself that endeared me to the book. One of them is; Will Uri and Lara eventually get down together?

This is no doubt am interesting thriller with a unique approach to it.

Thanks for the review! I enjoy reading books from this particular genre a lot. This book offers so much content to read, such as great background stories of the main characters, terrorist attacks, high-level treason and a budding romance amidst all of these. This one is on my list now.
