This is a well-detailed military thriller with plenty of action that will engage the reader who particularly likes this genre. The author seems to have packed a lot into this book, intrigue, terrorist activity, political maneuvering, sabotage and more. Thank you for the good review on this novel.

The book sounds interesting and exciting with lots of actions which involve special operatives, United States Coast Guard and Navy personnel, terrorists, martial arts, high-tech sabotage, political blackmail. That will definitely keep me glued to the pages of the book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I’m not really a fan of military books, but I’ll still check out the sample. I like the title and the book sounds interesting.

The commander is portrayed as a highly qualified officer. He has special forces training. How come he couldn't figure out how to use a smartphone? Maybe the author just wanted to use this foible to inject humor into the story! This sounds like a thrilling read. Thanks for your analysis of The Commander. Great writing!

This military thriller sounds fast-pace and full of action where the reader gets a first-hand account of Coast Guard lifestyle. Unfortunately, it's not for me, but I hope other readers who like this genre enjoy it. Great review!

I agree with your comment about the book containing details about the present day, I think it’s fun to see in books taking place in the past include little details about future topics. Thank you for your review!

Action packed thrillers are not my favorite. But I think this is a well told story and would be an interesting read. Thanks for an amazing review.

Terrorism is a timely and relevant plot and I am looking forward to digging into this book to find out how Edwards thwarted every attempt the terrorist made to create havoc and mass destruction in America.

'Official Review: The Commander' by Dan E. Hendrickson has an elegant expression! It is an in-depth description of the military tale of the American Commander Jacob Edwards! The readers new to the crime thriller genre would learn a lot from the details of the story explained in the review! I find the review a positive one that draws the attention of readers! Nice to learn that the book has enough action and adventure to quench the thirst of readers!

This action-packed novel is about terrorism and how Edwards was chosen to lead the mission to counter it. Although some people were not happy with the choice, the commander did not disappoint. Good review.

This sounds like an exciting, action packed book with the lead character countering the threat of terrorist attacks on American soil after 9/11. Thanks for a great review.
