This sounds like an amazing book. The themes surrounding this book are awesome and the quotes at the beginning of each chapter would probably appeal to me too. Wonderful review.

The reference to basketball is great and I am sure so many people will be able to relate to a character or an occurrence in the book. The author has done a great job with the descriptions. Thank you for a wonderful review.

The two main characters come from two different perspectives and have their own issues and desires. The mix of some reality with fiction sounds interesting too. I like how the characters both reach a catharsis during the story. Thanks for a great review.

That was a very insightful review! I like how the author dedicates the book to Gianna Bryant. I am not a basketball fan, so I’m not sure if this book is for me, but I did enjoy reading your review.

I like the mixing of real world events and fictional ones in this suspenseful novel. I also like that the story pays tribute to Gianna and Kobe Bryan whom we lost so tragically last year. I think that your only criticism in regards to the pace of the novel is accurate, but it also reflects how well a writer the author is if that is the only mistake. The battle between gentrification and helping the community is one that happens not only at the local level, but also on the state level.
