Sounds like an intriguing narrative of the battle of good versus evil. The emotions connected with a father murdering his son would be overwhelming and this book promises to be an engaging read for persons who like this genre of literature. Unfortunately, it is not my forte and though the book sounds exciting, I think I will pass. Thanks for a great review, all the same.

What an ingenious mixture of genres and characters. This one isn’t for me, but it sounds like the author has a popular series on her hands. Thank you for a great review.

Today’s book is a crossover of genres. It has adventure, fantasy, romance, and suspense. It begins with a suspenseful murder mystery and then twists to adventure and fantasy along the way. I have read the book and find the transition somehow unusual. But, it is nice that you enjoy the book and have a very enthusiastic review. Thanks for the insights and congratulations on Book of the Day.

Usually I don't associate romance with a battle between good and evil or with horror, which makes this book, the first in this series, unique. This storyline is attention-getting and interesting, but I will have to pass on this one and hope other readers will enjoy it. Great review!

This is a intriguing book, page-turner wonderful characters with an emphasis, how well it is written. Poe, Gabriel what is the real reason behind his actions.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy thriller novel split into two parts. The first part focuses on a man who kills his son in order to save his son from a "soul catching" demon and now faces criminal charges. The second part is about that demon and his mission to capture the soul of an angel, but he himself is captured by an organization that specializes in experimenting on supernatural beings. It looks to be worth another look. Well done.

Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren is such an interesting novel and certainly, the reason behind murdering the son is very wierd. Congratulations on #BOTD.

I already read this and also gave a review, and it was a treat. I like that McFarren didn't let go of Poe's character even though the focus of the story is Crighton. I like how you presented the review. Great job. Keep it up.
