I am very intrigued because, as the reviewer points out, we are a lot more likely to hear the stories from the point of view of the victim. But I, too, share the concern about how I am going to be able to handle what sounds like a very myopic and generalising view of men. Thank you for the caution!

The review is well written , it somehow made me want to read the book. As the book portrays a very sensitive issue of our society -'child abuse' to learn about it more i will give it a try and the idea of author to write the book according to murderer's perspective is quite intriguing. I am adding this book to my shelf right away✌.

I am a fan of murder mysteries and crime novels but I am not sure I would be able to read this one. I tend to avoid books with rape scenes so thanks for giving us a heads up about that content. However, I am very intrigued that the story is from the murderer's POV.

This isn't the kind of book I typically read, but it is unusual to read a book from the perpetrator's perspective. I might give it a go, though the potential stereotypes about men are concerning. Thanks for an honest review.

The topic of child abuse is very serious and unfortunately it happens so often nowadays. It damages not only the child's body but their psyche as well and that is not so easily mended. It will be interesting to read the book from the murderer's point of view and find out more about his inner thoughts and the reasons for such a deed and what "forced" him to do that. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This book is intriguing and it tells how to solve a murder through the murderers perspective. This also tells me why would someone kill their little sister on Christmas Day, that's just wrong on every level.

Circumstances and the logic behind the murderer's actions make any story worth it. Congrats to the author. It is a good book.

Christmas Murder ~ tells of how after 20 years a brother came forward with the story of killing his own sister. An eye opening situation where parents at all times have to listen to their children, especially girls. Disturbing scenes. Suspenseful. Intriguing.

After 20 years from his own perspective seems like restitution. A murder-mystery. Heart-reaching storyline. Fascinating.

Both of my sisters did pageants when they were younger. I remember one pageant in particular where my dad got up and walked out. My stepmom asked him later, and he plainly said "I couldn't stand to look at the way these parents are dressing these girls. It was like a parade of children for sex". I will never forget those words. As a Psychologist, I learned the sexual thoughts of males and females is significantly high. While we may not think a out it 24/7, the studies show the average male and female thinks about "sexual content" several times in an hour. Yes, most men and women do not look at children in a sexual way.

On a different note, I do look forward to reading this book. It is not often we get the perspective from the killer. It is normally set on a detective, family member, etc. It seems like it would make it interesting. Great review.

I think it's an interesting premise, but the subject of child abuse turns my stomach. Not for me.

The book gives a fresh take on raising awareness about sexual abuse on children. It is unusual and yet interesting to read about the crime from the lens of the perpetrator.

This book deals with serious and very real issues. It promises to be an emotional narration, even more so as it deals with siblings. I think I will bow out on this one, inspite of the fact that the review is very gripping.

This seems like a very tough read. Themes like chid abuse and murder between siblings may not be something I could stomach. The murder mystery being told from the perspective of the muderer sounds unique, though.

'Official Review: Christmas Murder' by Betty Schultz is a helpful description of the crime thriller story for readers! Every word in the review is clear and expressive! I like the way the reviewer relates the book to larger issues! The point that this is a great book to use to raise awareness of child sexual abuse is worth mentioning in the review! The rating given to the book seems to be economic and thus genuine!
