This is the best possible combination of genres. The treasure hunt, family secrets, and mysterious murder are more than enough to put this book on my list. Thanks for the review, it's great!

"The Treasure" by Julien Ayotte. An interesting story book talks about the adventure of Sebastian Reynolds, the Lost treasure and the search for the treasure. The story is combined with drama, adventure, suspense and actions. Congrats on BOTD.

I have read other books by Julien Ayotte and will have to agree that a strong suspense story is riveting. I am not certain if I would be interested in treasure hunting, but I will have to check this one out. Good review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller/mystery following a columnist and an old army colonel as they investigate two crates of Spanish silver and a treasure map, which all may be connected to the murder of the colonel's friend. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The treasure seems to be the kind of a book that will keep you up at night reading it. The plot and the theme are fascinating enough for me to put it on my reading list. Reminds me of the treasure hunts we did as kids with my friends. As for this review, it is interesting and well written.

This is an excellent review! Thank you for mentioning the bit about the lack of language and erotic scenes: I tend to appreciate authors who can unfold a story without resorting to those devices.

A treasure-hunting experience seems like a lot of fun. I love how the author has blended mystery with adventure in this conquest-filled novel. I am surely getting the full book to read, thanks to this awesome review!

Not my favorite type of book to read. It's not my style. I don't have the needed excitement to read this type of books. Great review though.

The Treasure seems like a captivating adventure novel for an older audience, with thrilling twists and fascinating characters. Great review.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be with Sebastian Reynolds and Woodrow take on a journey as they unearth a lost treasure that may be linked to his friend’s mysterious death. Looks like an exciting treasure hunt and adventure.
