I love mystery novels and this one is right up my alley. I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be with Pickles as she solves a mystery and clear her friend’s name in the process. I think this is going to be a fun mystery novel since dogs are assisting Pickles and I feel this book is fit to be a TV series.

This children's mysteries chapter book sounds like it encourages problem-solving skills, an appreciation of history, and the simple fun of figuring out a mystery. Overall, a light, awesome read. Great review!

Though the title is long and seemingly ambiguous, this is an interesting children's book. I'd like to see a children's based detective story. Thanks for your review.

Pickles sounds like me when I was young. A book that recalls community and family values and takes young readers on an adventure is always a welcome find. It reminds me somewhat of Harriet the Spy both in the writing technique and the story of a young girl who loves mysteries. Thank you for a wonderful review!

For Prickles to pretend to be Holmes shows a brilliant connotation that you become what you read, and you become whom you bestowed

The Adventures of Sweet Pickles McGillicuddy: The Mystery of the Disappearing Ruby Earring by James C. Wright is well suited for children. They can learn several lessons from the book. Congratulations on BOTD.
