I love your opening paragraph. It clearly stated how exciting the plot of the book is. This a clear reason I pick interest in this book.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

I was slightly confused when reading the sample but now I've read your review I understand it's the second in the series and by the sounds of it, it had a uniquely complicated plot. I myself hate to cringe when reading a book but the talk of soulmates and explicit scenes definitely have me intrigued. I will be looking into the first book. Great review!

Samara seems to have been born in a very chaotic situation. Her mother's body has been occupied by a soul from hell and now Lucifer's daughter wants revenge on her mother for snatching away her father, Crighton. I would like to know her story. Congratulations on BOTD!

The explicit sex and BDSM is keeping me from reading this. But the synopsis sounds really compelling, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to someone who enjoys this sort of thing, including the sex.

A book can be sweet and bitter to a reader at the same time. It is sweet when it is engaging and bitter probably because of the story plot. Thanks for an interesting review.

Such a fervent, candid review! It's wonderful to know that this book has strong plot twists that will keep me on my toes. I love suspense. Can't wait to find out what happens to Samara Daemonium!

This well-written, fantasy thriller novel, where the age old conflict of good vs. evil is explored, sounds enthralling. Even though it ends on a cliffhanger, it still feels compelling to read. Great review!

Your review was well structured and interesting to read. However, the theme of explicit sexual content, demons, and the like do not appeal to me.

A very unique and suspenseful thrilling mystery. It is impossible not to cringe when you consider some of the experiences. Comparable to the unease a nausea experienced while watching trump and his mob violence as displayed during the Attack on Democracy hearings. While this book is sci-fi there are parallels with today's world in the U.S.

This is the second book in this series and the title makes me worry about the lunatics leading several countries that could start global annihilation any day now. Samara Daemonium is the protagonist, notice the similarity to the Danarius family in Game of Thrones. Samara is a demon with an angel for a mother. Ariel is her mother and her father is Crighton. What gets strange is Samara's real mother is Lilith and Samara's body is occupied by the soul of an angel in Lucifer's captivity. Samara and her family live in middle earth, a place that I believe existed in The Lord of the Rings. Meanwhile in Hell, Lucinda, the daughter of Lucifer assumed control following her father's demise. This is a fascinating story that is more complicated than most stories but needs to be read to find out the outcome, especially with a third book to follow. Very good review.

There seems to be a lot of action and suspense in this book that I’m sure readers will enjoy. I’m not into horror though so I think I will pass. Thanks for your review!

This book features demons, angels, hybrids and a few humans. It also features politics, obsession, love, ego, torture, explicit sex, and BDSM. It has suspense and cringe that anger you to curiosity of the novel's plot. Congratulations on BOTD!

I read the first book to this series and it was absolutely incredible! Kaylin has quickly grown to become one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait to read about what happened after Lucifer was defeated.
