I don't enjoy going to casinos neither do I have a gambling habit. But, I enjoyed the plot of this story and like that it was exceptionally edited too. Wonderful review and congratulations on being the BOTD.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/mystery novel following a CDC analyst investigating online gambling that caused her father to commit suicide to get out of a large debt. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I agree that most people look down on gamblers, assuming that they fall into the habit due to irresponsibility. I like that the author portrays it as any other addiction. It is dangerous and can happen to anybody. This book sounds like an entertaining thriller. Congratulations on BOTD!🥳

This book highlights the almost sinister background of gambling and the structural efforts to keep its effects hidden. Addiction is addiction, often beyond understanding. I'm appreciative that the author includes statistics to support the story and discussion questions at the end. Thanks for the informative review!

I enjoy going to casinos every once in a while, so this sounds like the perfect book for me! I always suspected that casinos are being kept profitable on purpose; this seems to be the case with many things in the United States. I can't wait to delve into this novel. Thanks for the review!

It never occurred to me that the bells and whistles might be fake. Not all of them, of course. I have seen people win and have even won some myself. This will be an interesting read.

Although, I never had any interest in gambling,
I think am willing to read this book ,in other to find out more about gambling industry. This is because the reviewer mentioned something about gambling not being a bad thing and there were connection between the gambling industry and government.Sounds interesting.

The world of gambling (online or not) has always been a fascination for me. I don't gamble myself, but the addicting qualities of it are the most interesting parts. I look forward to reading this one!

This book seems to deal with some big themes early on including addiction and suicide, bringing them to life in a fictional story, that in all likelihood is many people’s reality. I particularly liked the viewpoint near the beginning of how the companies take control of the research and turn it to their advantage. So true!

I know some readers might be interested with this but this is not for me. This book contains gamblings, addiction to it and the undersides. Anyway, great review!

Thanks for your thoughtful review. I think it was a good move on the author's part to include actual statistical data if the goal was to draw more awareness to the problem of gambling.

Gambling is a serious issue that is fun but can be addictive and cause a lot of damage. The book has a captivating plot.
