I like mystery suspense novels. The character layout, the storyline, etc., everything seems to fit in the perfect context. This is a great review that would make the reader feel inspired and want to know more about the story of Karen Archer.

Why did Karen become the target for a killer? It sounds like a mysterious series of events and a fast-paced thriller that will have readers on the edge of their seats. Thanks for the informative review.

The start projects you right into the life of newlywed, orphaned Karen Archer. She is contemplating her parents lives and deaths and, at the request of her new husband, moving into her ancestral home which is reported to be 40 miles away from everywhere. Eerily, ravens attack her but more sinister events unfold as she is is forced off the road by a black Jeep that subsequently sinks into a supposedly bottomless lake.
Whew! Quick action and the readers interest builds just as quickly!

The book has an intriguing storyline, and as I read it, I played detective as well, but I could not figure out who the chaser was until the author revealed their identity. I enjoyed reading it as if I were reading the book itself. Congrats on botd!

From the OBC review, I can guess that this anxiety-inducing story triggers my paranoia. Everyone can be the killer, especially when their motives are obviously stated. However, I hope the twist is something unexpected. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This book seems to have plenty of intrigue, suspense, and mystery, a classic whodunnit—or, rather, who’s trying to do it. I have a bad habit of predicting the outcome in these kinds of plots a lot, but based on what’s being said about this book, maybe that won’t happen with this one. Thank you for the helpful review.

The description suggests a suspenseful mystery book. It appeared that Karen's accident was a murder scheme. like the story's tense atmosphere in this book. To find out if Karen found the guy trying to kill her, I'd like to read. I'm delighted you liked the book even if it contains profanity and sexual themes. Many thanks for sharing.

Absolutely Riveting, your review scared me, that's how I know the book is just as good. I love mystery and suspense novels, they always keepe on the edge of my seat. You're right to say this book is interesting and detailed because I've read the sample and the descriptions of the graveyard gave me the creeps. I can only imagine how scary it must have been for Karen to be chased through a graveyard by an unknown person. That would send me into cardiac arrest for sure.

I would definetly read this book. It has a level of mystery that is so intriguing. The plot seems great and I can see that the author put a lot of thought into it.

Well this sounds very nteresting. It's been a while that I've read a good suspense novel and it seems like this definitely tick all the boxes of a great one. I also love the cover. Thanks for a great and in detail review.

Good review - I just started reading this book, and I agree that the author has a talent for drawing the reader into the tension of his scenes. I would further say that this tends to offset the slower pace for me so far.

I look forward to continuing this read and can't wait to see how the plot unfolds.

The first thing I noticed is the title, it is quite attention drawer. Secondly, the review is perfect as the book, from the fact that someone would consider themselves as bait to the fact that everyone is a suspect. I will enjoy reading this book. Thanks for the wonderful review.
