Great book for today. I like how it involves soldiers fighting even after they are home, because it shows how they never truly give up fighting for the ones they love.

The war may be over but the battle isn't. Wonderful review. I'm definitely in the mood for some action.

Great review! The author embarks with his hero for an adventure that revolves around a beautiful love story in every sense (family, romantic), love for his homeland, his work with a backdrop of the anti-terrorist fight. The main protagonist takes us to discover the battle that takes place in the depths of himself. The author makes us travel and we discover other horizons than the United States. Hines puts himself completely in the skin of his hero in relation to the feelings and emotions: revolt, anger, fear among others. He creates a more than human hero with flaws and that makes mistakes and face difficult situations and decisions that we make in our everyday life. Hines, captivates the reader's attention from beginning to end. Keep the readers curious and definitely make the readers fall in love with the characters of the book other than the hero. Bravo to Hines !!! :tiphat:

The book looks interesting enough to stomach the violence and gore! However, there's just one thing that doesn't make much sense to me, and that is that a decorated soldier looking for peace is part of a mob. What's the deal with that?

Sounds like an action-packed and intense novel. Terrorism is a contemporary subject which I think will attrack many readers. I liked the sound of the storyline until you mentioned Bishop’s family, the Váldez family, is powerful in the mob. I am tired of books portraying Hispanics like criminals and maids. Thanks for the great review!

This' definitely not my cup of tea, but it's awesome that the new writer did such an outstanding job. Props to him just for that, and props to YOU for a great review.

John Bishop did a great character and really he brings excitement to the story. Additionally, John has an extraordinary family which makes the whole story more exciting. Thank you for this great review.

Hey, I could tell how much you enjoyed reading this, as I'm not a fan of horror I can see there is no gory scary part here so I can't wait to read this thanks to your review. Cheers.
