This is an excellent book, and I love the premise and thrill. Being the fourth installment, I am awed, and I have gone back to check the rest. Jack Winnick is a really great author, and it seems his books follow the same trend as this one, which is a grave incident in the beginning then, followed by investigations with Uri and Lara as crucial characters. This Beverly Hills attack would be different, and I would love to see the response by a now-married Uri and Lara!

The peaceful setting of the Beverly Hills mall is shattered by a sudden bombing, drawing Lara Edmond and Uri Levin back into action to uncover the intentions of a dangerous terrorist group.

The lack of real struggle and tension can affect your enjoyment, but if you like terrorist crime stories, give it a try.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

I get what you're saying about Lara and Uri not struggling much against the terrorists. It's fun to see characters fight and overcome challenges, so it might feel less intense if they escape too quickly. But maybe, like you said, it’s because of their past experience in previous books

This sounds like a great series, and The Date Farm is already the fourth book. It will take me a while to catch up. From reading the sample, I understand that Uri lost his eye in one of the first three books, and now he has a very realistic fake eye. This underlines the dangerous jobs that he and Lara have, working as agents for both the FBI and the Israeli Mossad. Great review. I'm one of the readers who enjoy a political thriller and a little romance, so I will keep reading.

The Date Farm is a moving and exquisitely written story that skillfully combines themes of cultural legacy, generational conflict, and the pursuit of belonging. The novel centers on Leila, a young lady struggling with her Arab-American identity, and is set in the date-growing region of California. Over the course of several decades, the book follows Leila as she grows up and negotiates her connection with her father, her cultural background, and her position in a community that is frequently divided. The Date Farm is a moving and exquisitely written story that skillfully combines themes of cultural legacy, generational conflict, and the pursuit of belonging. I like that this story unwraps the many layers of terrorism. The bomb blast might just be a distraction for a bigger agenda. I trust the Lara and Uri will uncover it soon before more damage is done.

This book shines in its realistic portrayal of collaboration among major investigative agencies like Homeland Security, the CIA, and the FBI. The author's detailed research adds authenticity to the story, giving readers a genuine sense of the hard work and tension involved in tracking down dangerous criminals. Nice review.

The Date Farm stands well on its own despite being the fourth book in the series. The story follows now married agents Lara and Uri as they collaborate to take down a terrorist group that bombed a Beverly Hills mall. Various investigate agencies join forces for the case. The ensuing adventure will keep readers glued as they follow the agents to various countries.

I didn’t like that Lara and Uri were dragged out of their vacation; regardless, it is an engaging and well-detailed book.
