I liked the way the reviwer described the book. The story itself Looks interesting what happened eight years ago. The plot itself as the unknown past even though Emma was present at the incident, she didn't remember, and this makes manipulating her an interesting line of the story. Congrats on BOTD

I believe the police did their investigation. Why is she not informed then? I'm sure there's a reason. The book has an intriguing cover page. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

“Drawn from Life” by Sarah P. Blanchard is a captivating read, especially with its exploration of trauma, guilt, and memory. Emma Gillen’s resilience and the intriguing character of Chaz add depth to the story. Congratulations on #BOTD!

I love psychological thrillers, and this one sounds like it will deliver all the excitement I love. Now I am curious about who was driving the car and what the deal was she made with his cousin—great review of the book and five stars.

Oh I love crime thrillers, especially psychological ones. I'm dying to find out what the real cause of the accident was.

Memory is a very delicate and crucial part of our existence and wellness. Waking up one day and discovering you have no memory is scary. I won't say I understand the loss, emptiness, confusion or trauma that Emma Gillen had to face after her accident because I haven't dealt with such at any time. Still, I can imagine how frustrating it would be not being able to remember.
If you want to find out what happened to Emma Gillen and how her psychological trauma was resolved, grab a copy of "Drawn from Life" by Sarah P. Blanchard. Its intrigue will keep you on your toes to the end.

Emma's mental health must've been deteriorated. I suspect Lucy though. I hope she's not there to make matters worse for Emma. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

Thank you for your great review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. I'm glad you explained about the car accidents. The part that I sampled I hadn't read about an accident yet. I'm glad that the suspense was throughout the book and there were numerous twists in it. I am picky on my crime thrillers, and though this book was written well, I am going to pass on it.

Nicely written review!! I like psychological thrillers because they also play with the minds of the readers and the experience of thrill and anticipation can be found nowhere else! This book seems interesting from the get-go in terms of plot, narrative and how it ends. Look forward to reading this book!!

“Drawn from Life” by Sarah P. Blanchard is a psychological thriller with Emma Gillen as the main character. Emma was involved in an accident that three people lost their lives. The story moves forward eight years and while Emma does not remember what happened during the accident she is still very disturbed and believes the accident was her fault. Her cousin Lucy comes back into her life after she disappeared eight years ago. One has to wonder where she has been and what are her motives for returning. Lucy needs money and she wants a piece of the inheritance their wealthy uncle left behind. Emma wants to get back her memories from the accident including who was driving the car and who is targeting her now. The sample starts years before and gives readers the background on cousins Lucy and Emma, only a year apart in age but very different. Lucy was an artist that insisted on Emma being her nude model. The official review is excellent and the comments about how the book was beautifully written, and the ending caused goosebumps and brought the reviewer close to tears convinced me I wanted to read the entire book.
