Imagine a tattoo that gives high! I wonder if Jennifer was really innocent. The use of drugs by students is getting worse and needs to be checked and stopped. It's high time schools got serious investigating their sources. Nice review!

Thank you for your great review. I agree that this book covers many important subjects. Also, I thought that the author had great character development as you had stated. While it is written well and about many things true in today's world, I don't believe I can read it at this time. I hope many others will read and perhaps learn from it.

Drug abuse in schools is a serious issue, so the topic of this book is relevant. I wonder how involved the teacher really is. I'm looking forward to finding out.

A tattoo that gives a high? This is really unique and enthralling and I am wondering whether there could be such a thing in future. I am glad that the author used lots of twists and turns and hence making the story gripping. Indeed, I also hope that it is concern for the welfare of children and the community that drives the boards, and not their reputation.
Many thanks for the review. :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:

"Cruel Lessons" by Randy Overbeck. In this fictional novel, four young boys tragically lose their lives in a car accident as a result of being influenced by a new and dangerous drug. The mystery deepens as we wonder how the students came to possess and use this drug. Will detective Park successfully apprehend the primary supplier of the illicit drug? Read this book to find out how the plot progresses. Congrats on BOTD!

I usually like a whodunnit story such as this. In *Cruel Lessons* by Randy Overbeck, it's who supplies it. Moreover, it has kept the reviewer on the edge of the reviewer's seat, which should give you a hint that it's that good:
'Four young boys tragically died in a car accident on a school camping trip. During the investigation, the police discovered the kids had used a new drug. This book had a simple plot, but it was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. There were many suspects, and it was not clear until the end who was making and supplying the drugs. Just when I believed I had identified the villains, the plot shifted, leaving me at a loss. I also enjoyed the thorough backstories of the characters.'

A very interesting and promising story, in my opinion. The intriguing plot is built around a serious and important worldwide issue of drug use in schools. It doesn't look like, despite all efforts to prevent children being used and involved in crime dealings, it is going to stop any time soon, and I would like to see it happen at least in a fictional world. Congratulations on BOTD!

Drugs that claim the life's of school children. The thriller is the unveiling of how the drugs got to the hands of the children.
It's an uncovering of mystery.
