Thank you for the insightful review! "In Lieu of Flowers" by Keith Steinbaum seems to weave a gripping tale of destiny, dark forces, and human desperation. Gunari's decision to steal a child, despite expecting his own, highlights the lengths people will go for survival. The emotional depth and excellent writing, especially in portraying Naomi's anguish, are commendable. Your high rating and recommendation suggest this book is a must-read for fiction lovers.

Seems like Gunari stole the right, but the wrong child. The plot of this book is intriguing me because I got so many questions I need answered after reading this official review of the book. Supernatural books are my favorite to read, so I cannot wait to get this book.

A fascinating plot and an insightful assessment make this seem like a page-turner. In Keith Steinbaum's novel In Lieu of Flowers, Gunari struggles to maintain his composure and leans toward harming another child in exchange for assurances of future welfare for his own child and family. Saved for later reading.

The author's presentation of the characters through their emotions and presence provides a gripping narrative for the reader. Though the subject of child kidnapping is disturbing to me,other parts of the story with its prophecies appeals to me. I will try and enjoy thw read. Thanka for the review!

The first paragraph of the review was pretty much captivating. Reading about a stolen child means searching for so many answers. It is quite intriguing. Nice review.

I'm super intrigued by this plot, so I'll definitely check out this book. I wonder why Gunari had to steal baby Petre in the first place and how this action caused strange things to happen in the future.

I'll definitely like this as I enjoy supernatural books. I also like the plot of what I've read, it's captivating. How much drama and dilemma can one person and family take? With regards to review, it was well written, however, I did feel that there was a few spoilers in, which now dulled down the book for me, especially with Petre and what happens to him, the part where you state that he dies, that something I feel the reader has to find out for themselves. But all and all the review was well written. Congrats on BOTD.

I enjoy reading books because I always learn something from the story or the author, whether it's a small detail or something more significant. I appreciate the trajectory of this novel and the thoughtful effort the author put into skillfully crafting this great piece. I read the review with keen interest and was not disappointed by its depth. I smiled at the point where the kidnapper prayed to God for a successful mission—what a funny irony. It makes me wonder: if God answered all prayers, what would become of humanity? Imagine a coffin maker praying for more clients. I believe this is a great read, and I look forward to discovering Gunari's story and how he fared. Congratulations to the author on been selected as the Book of the Day.
