“Murder Under Redwood Moon” by Sherri Lynn Dodd is a suspenseful blend of murder mystery, horror, and witchcraft. The story follows Arista, a young witch with unique powers, as she faces dark forces, a serial killer, and her sinister uncle Fergus. The book captivates with its intricate plot, vivid descriptions, and intense climax, making it a must-read for fans of thrillers and supernatural fiction. Thank you for this amazing review!

I think I'll pass. Dark horror and witchcraft is really not my spec. However, fantasy lovers would love it. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I might love mystery and crime thrillers, but add to the mix "torment and gruesome torture" with "bone-chilling instances of black magic" and it definitely becomes not my cup of tea. Murder is awful as it is, no need for derailed descriptions and supernatural twists.

“Murder Under Redwood Moon” by Sherri Lynn Dodd is a murder mystery thriller that includes witchcraft both white magic and dark magic and paranormal activity. The author did a great job developing the characters especially the evil Uncle Fergus who performed evil acts on Arista when she was a young girl, and her father Ian foresaw some of the evil via a dream. The sample was great, but the remainder of the book will get darker with torture and murder by a serial killer. Several girls go missing and more bodies are found. Is Fergus involved or are the two guys that gave Michelle a ride and then abducted her, the killers. The ending indicates there will be a sequel, so I need to read the book to learn answers to these questions and get ready for the sequel.

It looks like an exciting book with magic and crime. However as much as I love both genres, I don't think I will be able to handle violent descriptions. Thank you for your review!

"Murder Under Redwood Moon" by Sherri Lynn Dodd is a murder mystery thriller combined with the horror and black magic. I started reading the sample and couldn't stop myself. Some readers can find it disturbing but as the reviewer mentioned it to be a fulfilling experience I will give it a try. Adding it to my bookshelf!
