This sounds like I would enjoy the characters and main theme. I love complicated characters who do seemingly horrible things for their own reasons. This serial killer sounds understandable (for a serial killer). However I'm usually put off by gore or intimate violence in novels (for some reason it doesn't bother me as much in movies), so this probably isn't for me.

I love the show Criminal Minds, which also delves into how serial killers think, so this book sounds incredibly interesting! I find it so fascinating how people can commit such atrocities, and it sounds like the author has managed to present that well. It's unusual to find books where the main character is the villain, and it can be difficult to make a reader relate to a villain. I'm very interested to read this book after this review!

Depending on what the book is about thrillers are my type of books. Great review and it makes me wonder what people must have been through to cause them to act violently towards other people.

Quite an interesting plot outline, I am always curious to understand the background and mindset of a serial killer, so that I will be able to identify if any such person lurks closer to me than I am aware of.

A thriller book delving into the mind of a serial killer sounds intriguing. A book that makes you feel a bit of sympathy toward a killer should be good. That the pace is good is another plus. It sounds too graphic for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

Thanks to the review, I'm going to give the book a try. I like reading all kinds of books. Why not some psychological thriller?
Getting into the mind of a serial killer seems creepy.
Congratulations to the author for making such book available. It definitely spread some light into the mind of a serial killer. Great review!

I actually do not want to get into the mind of a serial killer even though I like murder mysteries. However, you have made it sound like an exciting trip so I am willing to give it a try. I like the fact that despite being a sequel, it can be read as a standalone novel. Thanks for piquing my interest. Well done!

This is definitely one of those thriller books that is worth reading. Although you do not really have to read the first book in the series to catch on the story, I think it would still be better off checking out the first to grasp on the atmosphere of the novel. Hope this gets turned into a movie as well :)

Serial K Returns, by Brian Gallagher, was riveting from start to finish. The character descriptions were vivid, so much so, that I could easily visualize the menacing killer and his victim. I wanted to close my eyes when he brutally doled out his punishment of his perceived infractions. His premeditated planning of future "righting of wrongs" draws the reader into K's demented world, almost making "sense" of what he was about to do. Excellent portrayal of the mind of a serial killer.

This book title looks very intriguing, in a unique way that is pleasing to the mind. This is the sort of book i am interested in because it has a touch of thriller, horror and drama with the right mix to couple it together perfectly.

I actually thought of Dexter when I saw the plot for this book, a serial killer going after bad guys. I typically love murder/crime mysteries, but I struggle with the more graphic ones. The disclaimer at the end of this review gives me the impression the murder scenes might be too graphic for my taste. Overall, if you can stomach it, this book sounds great.

I'm really excited to read this! serial killers as the protagonists is always a challenge, so I'm interested how the author will approach it. Also, the plot seems very interesting, so I think I'll enjoy this.

Exploring the mind of a serial killer sounds like an interesting idea. Readers are generally shown the perspective of the innocent, I think reading something from the other side is going to be interesting. Good job with the review!

Serial Killer Returns by Brian Gallagher is a thriller story. The main character who also happens to be a serial killer of two, Craig Breedlove claims to seek revenge.
The story is indeed mind blowing and interesting as it gives one the feeling reading it so as to know more of it.
I don't recommend it for the soft hearts.

This is not my favourite genre, but now I am intrigued. Your review makes it sound worth a read. I am curious about the development of feelings and thoughts of revenge, and those complex, determined and well-developed characters. But, your warning will probably keep me away from the book. Thank you so much for the detailed and helpful review.
