A good thriller to look forward to this year. Sophie being tied to illusion instead of believing the evidence being laid out to her against Tony is what represents many people today who tried to hide from the truth. Added to my list.

This book has enough to play on one's emotion and intelligence. A book that seek to unveil the extent which on human heart, wisdom could feed the heart to believe unseen imagined reality. Novel of choice of love life, of the high class citizens. Excellent work done.

Even though this book seems to be of a genre I generally like a lot, I think that Sophie's refusal to see reason would get on my nerves too much, so I'll give this one a pass. Thanks for the very thorough review, though.

It's always impressive when an action-packed detective book also manages to have great character development. Sounds like a great story!

It seems to be a mind-blowing fiction. I like the character description of Sophie. She could be quite an interesting character to teach on matters on satisfaction. Thank you for the good review.

The fast-paced energy of this thriller comes across in the review and makes me intrigued to read the book in full for myself. There is an interesting assortment of characters - young and old all brought together in the Sophie/Tony debacle and obviously every one of them has a lesson to learn in the course of the story .Sounds like this rollercoaster has something for everyone - young and older!

Sophie gets involved in a dangerous situation with Tony, who is just using her to get money to finance an illegal and unscrupulous business. It is good that she learned that her sense of worth and self-identity does not come from anyone else.

It will be interesting to read the story of Sophie and her young lover, Tony, even as Sophie's son attempts to protect his mother. Nice review.

I usually like crime thrillers. However interesting this book may sound, the underlying theme of the sex trade doesn’t interest me.

Even though I don't typically read books of this nature, I like that there is a lot of character development and plot development.
