I am certainly intrigued....books that jump right into the action with lots of twists and turns and tying everything together in the end are what I like! Who doesn't enjoy a novel with lots of adventure? You said this book is part of a series but can stand alone; however, if I like it, and i certainly think i will, I'll consider the others. A thriller filled with adventure and action set in Canyonlands National Park where the protagonist fights thieves to protect archeological sites sounds like an intense read. It is not for me, but I hope it is enjoyable for others. Great review!
