This seems like an interesting adventure and mystery story. The incorporation of ancient civilizations, alternate dimensions and sinister powerful people are all elements that make this story worthwhile. Congrats on BOTD!

It appears that the blend of science and mysticism offers a fresh take on ancient civilization. The adventure, mystery, and suspense are geared toward those who enjoy speculative fiction.

The mysterious elements that surround the theme of this intriguing novel seem fascinating, and the idea of mind travel, the theme of this novel, seems worth reading.

I'd definitely like to read this book. The mention of learning about religion and ancient civilizations has piqued my interest. Couple that with the puzzle of looking for the Garden of Eden, this book has a lot to offer.

You had me at 'reminiscent of Dan Brown mysteries'. I love these types of books, and like you, the history and travel aspects are highly appealing. I'll take on board your comments about the questionable plot devices and will approach the book with an open mind. Thanks for the really thorough review.

The likeness to Dan Brown is highly complimentary and serves as a genuine call to read. I really enjoy the book's travel section, and I don't mind reading about drug-induced hallucinations and out-of-body experiences as long as they serve the plot.

I like books that are rooted in historical fiction because I tend to learn while reading. I also love stories rooted in ancient Egypt. Congratulations on book of the day!

I've been looking for something with a bit of a genre change and this will be perfect. History about religion and ancient secrets is something I enjoy. I can't wait to see what adventures Maya and her friends experience and I'm curious to see if they do find her father. Thanks for an insightful review.

Your review makes this book sound like all the adventures of Lara Croft has been put together with all the detailed storytelling of Dan Brown. What a win! I love that you pointed out how there were some errors but that it didn’t detract from your enjoyment of the storyline. Great review
