I’m curious to see why James ends up turning himself in (is it that or just a sense of remorse). I think this may be a difficult book for me to read because I’m a mother to two young boys. Stories about young children being abused and killed don’t really sit well with me.

This story really focus also on child abuse which got my attention. I would always wondered what goes through the mind of the abuser.
I would rate this book 3 stars out of 4..
