Well, this is set up to be an exciting but very comfortable read. How does one kill his little sister and let his little brother take the fall for it? I'd like to know what eventually becomes of James. Also, it's interesting to see how the story is written from James's point of view.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime novel told from the murderer's point of view and concerns the murder of the narrator's little sister and the narrator's brother taking the blame for it while the murderer gets away scot-free. Years later, the murderer realizes that he did something wrong, but is it too late to correct the harm that has been done. This book might not be for everyone and the plot is definitely not the most liked, but it may be worth a second look. Well done.

I just downloaded this book for free today. The review has me extremely interested. I love mystery/thrillers.

I’m curious to see why James ends up turning himself in (is it that or just a sense of remorse). I think this may be a difficult book for me to read because I’m a mother to two young boys. Stories about young children being abused and killed don’t really sit well with me.

Filled with family drama, mystery, and suspense, this book also draws awareness to sexual child abuse, which may be triggering to some readers. It brings into sharp focus the need for caregivers and others to be acutely aware of what is happening around their wards. Child abuse is on the rise; thus, this story is timely and relevant. The book is a representation of a lot of bad things that happen in this live, like child abuse but also getting away with a awful crime and corruption in the justice making. I think the author by writing this wanted to exagerate the male characters so the idea gets clear. The narration of the assassin is even more enjoyable to read because it gets a diferent perspective. This story is very rare and unique. Christmas murder by Betty Schultz is a story of frictional story of a young girl who was killed by her 19year old brother named james. He covered is evil behaviour and he frame his brother for killing the girl. After 20 years, He confess his evil act of killing his sister and seek repentance.
This story really focus also on child abuse which got my attention. I would always wondered what goes through the mind of the abuser.

The themes of child abuse and rape are really heavy and complicated to talk about. This book seems to bring various stereotypes about men, but also a unique perspective about the themes.
