Like any addiction, gambling can become all-encompassing and detrimental to one's relationships and mental health. This book relays a strong message of caution. Thanks for the informative review.

I don't think I'm interested to this book. I'm not familiar with gambling or casino-life kind of thing. But from the review the storyline seems engaging. Any kind of addiction is destructive and always has bad ending. Nice review.

It's interesting that the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) warns Cara not to research online gambling even though there might be a correlation between it and suicide. I look forward to reading this book. Thanks for the insightful novel.

The author shows us how addiction to games can result from Pavlovian conditioning, and how this addiction can be as destructive as that of drug . She presents the gambling environment as an ecosystem where gravitate theft, fraud and corruption.

Casinos, gambling, and the CDC provide a backdrop to this interesting tale. It definitely sounds like a unique approach to a story.

In an intriguing situation, this story seems to turn when Cara, the protagonist, finds herself and tries to understand the connection between her father's suicide and online gambling.

I am interested in the argument surrounding gambling addiction and suicide. I hope Cara was able to do some good.
Lovely review.

Gambling is an addiction, as smoking. This book's premise is thrilling and enlightens the reader. The author includes actual statistical data concerning addictions and the government's involvement in keeping the gambling industry profitable. A must read for me. Thank you for your wonderful review.

Thank you for the great review. I have known people who are addicted to different things. I'm sure many will enjoy reading this book and it is written so life-like. I'm going to pass, though since businesses like this not being honest with the public, is really one of my big pet peeves.

I’ve known for a while how manipulative casinos are, but I still find entertainment in them and in stories related to them. This book sounds like it could be up my alley in that regard. I’d love to see why the CDC does not want online gambling investigated, although I already have my suspicions. Thank you for the helpful review.

This sounds like an excellent book for those interested in politically driven crime dramas. Although I'm not interested in this book, I am impressed with the author's inclusion of statistics and information. Thank you for your great review!

Such an important topic that often is overlooked. It's always good to bring attention to the many ways of which the weak can be taken advantage of by the powerful. Good review!

Since gambling can easily ruin your life, I have always tried to avoid it as much as possible. I adore the plot of this book.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
