"Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh tells the inspiring story of Sal, a retired restaurateur, who finds love and purpose in Florida by co-founding Senior Recovery Services to help defrauded senior citizens. This well-written book combines romance, action, and cultural elements, earning a perfect rating for its engaging narrative and professional editing.

An interesting read that sheds light on the fact that older citizens are often the main targets of fraudsters. Great read. Congrats on #BOTD

As we keep getting older it can be very frustrating. Reading a book like this which can spark life at the age of 70 will boost the morale of much younger readers like me. Would love to give it a try and see what SRS's future turns out to be.
Would love to read something unique.

“Easy Marks” by Dennis Walsh is a wonderful story about Salvatore, a.k.a. Sal, that found life can be great after retiring from active work. Sal is the son of an Italian immigrant, and his parents opened a restaurant in Boston. When they decided to retire, they handed over the business to Sal and after a successful 25 years he retired and handed the business over to his sister Sophia. Moving to Florida to enjoy his retirement years. He met Mona and their friendship led to starting the Senior Recovery Services (SRS) an association that helps defrauded senior citizens get their money back. Being a senior age 71 I am well aware of how fraudsters attempt to take advantage of seniors and try to take their bank accounts by using computer fraud. SRS looks like a wonderful organization, and I salute their success and I hope I never experience senior fraud. The sample was excellent, and I enjoyed learning about the experiences Sal had with Mona and his other friends and how he was going to help Mona’s friend Sylvia who had been scammed out of $10,000 by a fraudster that called and told her she owed the IRS for the overpayment she received from Social Security over the past five years. I cannot wait to read the entire book.

I'm thrilled that a story like this exists—it's such an enjoyable read. The narrative follows Sal, who relocates and starts truly enjoying life at an age many would consider old. Defying all odds, he meets Mona, who takes a chance on him, leading to their sweet, entangled relationship. I can't wait to dive into their adventures and see how life unfolds for them. Thanks for the great review. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

This was the first book written by Dennis Walsh that I ever read, and my impressions were very positive. To be honest, I selected it based on nostalgic memories about another story that involved "the son of an Italian immigrant to the USA" and, while the plot hasn't much in common with "Once Upon a Time in America" it was enjoyable and quite interesting. Congratulations on BOTD!

Thankyou for the review! I truly like the content and scope of what this book covers right from financial concerns one might face in old-age to the matters of the heart, and how life doesn't end at 60 or once you retire. It looks forward to it like a new phase and an interesting journey ahead. Kudos to the author! Looking forward to reading this book!!

I like that this book focused on senior citizens; it's a refreshing take. Sal and Mona sound like a dynamic duo, and I can't wait to read about what they achieved with the SRS. I'll definitely check this book out.

Retiring from the family business at 25? Sal must be a different kind of human. I'd love to know more about him and what made him to that.

Great review! After a life well-lived running a family restaurant, Sal retires and goes to Florida. He meets Mona and they begin a new life as well as a venture where they save senior citizens from fraudsters. Read "Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh to get the fantastic full story!

I love the twist that the author employs in giving a serious issue an easy way to present it to the masses. This looks like a really enjoyable read and even though I do not necessarily enjoy romance stories, I'd read this just to know how Sal and Mona come up with the concept of SRS and how they handle the issue of senior citizens being defrauded. Kudos to the author for making book of the day. A well rounded review.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. From the sample, I did like the author's style of writing and it's great that the editing is professionally done too. While I think it would be a good book anyway, the fact that the characters are older, like me, and can show the world what they can still do and enjoy just makes the book that much better. I've added it to my list of books to read.
