With this review, Mac pursues a tenuous kindling of his relationship with his mother. He has been out of the country and out of touch so he has much to try and put into perspective from his own professional life which caused him to be out of touch. This is trying to find a relationship and a time to evaluate how much aging has affected his mother. Very well done and open to many directions to be explored as he explores his family and the people in it.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting mystery story following Mac as he tries to rekindle the relationship with his mother while dealing with the issues caused by the pandemic and homeless issue. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The stage is set. I imagine a lot can happen in a week. I'm intrigued. I'd like to see how it goes for Mac and his Mom, Sadie.

A pleasant read. Enjoyed the extra details in the review. I found one mistake in the sample. If it is the one the reviewer said he found,it is well written and edited. This is not an exciting story and is character driven. Mac and Sadie, his Mum, need to do a lot of talking to understand each other and become close again. Great choice for BOTD.

Mac's dilemma is relatable because nowadays we are so busy that it is hard to find time for our parents. There are so many things happening in the book murder, the pandemic, and Mac's personal problem, I think readers will have a blast on this one. Thank you for the review.

'Official Review: A Week's Worth' by Thyme Lewis presents an enriching and wholesome view of the action thriller tale for readers. It delivers important information related to the book for keen readers. The point that this is the story of a former navy officer now working with FEMA, as he tries to rekindle his relationship with his mother after hearing some troubling news about her, is worth mentioning in the review. I appreciate the good ending of the story. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the author discusses issues like homelessness, hinting at some of the reservations people have about these people is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book is interesting and heartwarming and we learn a bit about empathy from it!

Outstanding review! You kept it sweet and simple, the same way the author wrote the book. I can't wait to read about Mac and his mother! This story is so relatable to those of us that are helping with our parents and grandparents. The dialogue between Mac and his mother sounds like it's going to be very entertaining. And chapter 55 has got my interest piqued!

I sampled this book in the Kindle version and I agree with Chris Alex on all counts. I also found it suspenseful and empathetic. The sample kept me turning pages, and it's good to know that there is an audiobook version Chris Alex "read" because I love audiobooks. All in all, thank you for this very useful review.

Exceptionally thorough and well-written review.
Congratulations on book of the day.
The story seems like a lot of fun. The author seems to have crafted a very real character that readers can identify to on a deep level, taking into account his personal life with the deaths of the people around him, his family with the complex relationship with his mother, and his professional life trying to solve a mystery.

I just started reading to improve my grammar and this book describes the feelings of the man and environment well yet it give some suspense in between. The relationship between Mac and his mother can be related in many. The suspense from this book made me purchase it from Amazon.

Thank you for your great review of the mystery novel A Week's Worth by Thyme Lewis. Your review highlights that the story goes beyond murder and suspense. This is a novel I would like to read: It is character-driven; it is about the dynamics of rebuilding family relationships in the midst of a pandemic and having to deal with everyday life issues.

"A Week's Worth" by Thyme Lewis. An interesting book talks about Mac, a former Navy officer now working with FEMA, doing all he can to have a strong bond with his after hearing some troubled news about her. Relationship to family is an important role anyone has to. Congrats on your #BOTD.
