I love CMTS novel so this is definitely something I would read. When the law and a cartel is involve it makes it even more exciting. Stainless sounds like quite a character. Thanks for a great and insightful review. Congrats on BOTD.

"South of Good" by Randall Reneau is a gripping tale that plunges readers into the gritty world of international intrigue and treasure hunting. Set against the vivid backdrop of Mexico, the novel follows geologist Trace Brandon as he navigates a labyrinth of danger, betrayal, and suspense. Reneau's detailed knowledge of geology and his skillful storytelling make the plot both engaging and believable.great review and keep it up .

I have read books whose plots have a gradual exposition but eventually gain steady development, hence making up for the otherwise slow development; I can't wait to see what Randall has in this book. Thank you for the wonderful review.

This sounds like a thrilling read with its intriguing plot twists and complex characters. The mix of first and third person writing adds depth, and the constant guessing about the outcomes keeps readers on their toes. Congrats on BOTD!

It appears that a sheriff is caught up with his duty to his job and his concern with those he love. The book is ideal to fans of thrillers about cartels and law enforcement.

I love the nickname Stainless. Although it originated in school, it is very apt for a sheriff to be known as Stainless Steel! The unpredictable twists and turns in the plot sound fascinating. Thank you for your informative review.
