I really enjoyed reading your review of Crimeline Hollywood! The blend of suspense and humor, particularly in scenes like the car chase with Dash arguing with his GPS, Nigel, sounds both tense and hilarious. I love when authors add moments of lightheartedness like this to balance out intense situations. Your mention of Sparklynn's love for codes and puzzles makes the mystery sound engaging, and I'm curious how Dash will use his astrology background to crack the case. The pairing of Dash with Rebecca, who is focused on her image, also seems like it would add an interesting dynamic. The short chapter lengths you mentioned might throw off the pacing a little, but I agree that it doesn’t seem like a dealbreaker for a fast-paced, entertaining book. Thanks for the recommendation!

I love the plot of this book — it sounds intriguing, especially with all the buzz about the Hollywood industry at the moment. I love that this has both suspense and humor. I've also always liked seeing the words "well-developed characters" in any review. Personally, I don't mind short chapters whatsoever, so that doesn't bother me. Thank you for the review, I'll definitely take a look at the book.

This book seems like something I would enjoy to read because of this review. "Crimeline Hollywood" by Thomas Collins is definitely a fast paced thriller with a mix of astrology and humour, the kidnapping of a celebrity and the subsequent rush to try and save her adds in some mystery and suspense which makes this book very balanced,a little caution on strong language therefore recommended for adult readers

Sparklynn, a famous individual and lover of puzzles gets kidnapped. Her astrologer is on the run after a hitman pursues him. Are these two crimes connected? Sparklynn leaves coded clues in her ransom messages. The investigators are in for a ride. Lovers of crime and mystery novels will enjoy the book.

At one time, I was quite obsessed with old movies about P.I work in Hollywood. I really liked the atmosphere they created and to this day I enjoy them a great deal. This book's description somewhat reminded me of the feeling and, while it is not completely the same, I am still very intrigued and interested in the story. Thanks for the recommendation and congrats on BOTD!

I have also shared the same experience with you. I initially started reading this, and the story and the fast-paced plot from the beginning of the book hooked me. What impressed me the most was how well the author managed to blend a spy thriller with the unconventional perspective of an astrologer and a fugitive hero, which I found surprising and amazing and assisted in making me enjoy the book in general. As for the chapter lengths, I have to disagree with your negative remark respectfully; I found the numerous short chapters to be an intentional stylistic move that served well to speed the book along and assisted in adding to my enjoyment of it, rather than a mistake or omission detracting from it.
