Congratulations for book of the day! I haven't read the book and the review makes the story sound like a compelling thriller! I have read several mysteries and thrillers. I read them because of the suspense, and because of the minimal sex or violence. I don't think I'll be reading the book though, because of the mature themes.

Great review. This sounds like an interesting novel but I would definitely have to read the first book before attempting this one. It sounds like the main character is developed well and that the plot moves easily since you couldn't put it down. Thank you for sharing.

I think so aspects of this book seem interesting, but there are also some darker points that I’m not sure I’d like to read about. Thanks for the insight!

I still need to get to Behind the Door. This sequel sounds amazing. I'm intrigued by Lara's Journal!? Thanks for your great insight on the book!

Lara's Journal - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Move over 50 Shades of Grey! This novel is far more sophisticated in characters and plot-line.
Simone is a well-developed character and deals with her own emotions and fears as well as, (if not better than she does with her patients).
I liked the added bonus of a murder/mystery/thriller theme within the erotica; this was also well-handled by the author with believable psychological twists and turns that kept me enthralled up to the very last page - definitely another winner by A Gavazzoni!

Sounds like an excellent series, and well proofread. It's so hard to find that these days. Thanks for the great review.

Great review, thank you! It sounds like an intriguing plot, but I'm glad that you noted it would be best to read the first novel of the series before embarking on this one. There are some series' books that can work as a stand alone, so I will be sure to read this after I've read the first one.

It looks as if it is best to read the first book, at least. The story sounds great.

Thanks for the review. It is good to know that it is not a standalone novel. I hate when people say that and then realize that I really wish I had read the prior book(s) first. I am glad that you enjoyed it and that it is professionally edited.

Insightful review. I will not be reading this book since it is book 2. Also, I am not interested in reading anything with serial abuse in it.
