What a catchy adventure with some thriller vibes! Can't wait to read it and to see how author during all the story keeps characters authentics to themselves. Congrats!

Awesome job on your review! Thanks! I know you said to get both books, but I thought I'd start with Book 1 and see how it goes. I'm looking forward to starting it soon. :-) I love mysteries, and the twists and turns sound like they really keep readers fully engaged and guessing throughout. Thanks, again!

I love the book; judging from the review it actually has what I love in any interesting novel 'the suspense'!

I love a good mystery novel and this book sounds like one that will fit the bill for me. I like how the author creates the story and has the murdered character keep a diary of his encounters. I especially like that part because it shows that he was smart and knew to have something as back-up just in case. I'm looking forward to reading this murder mystery and seeing where the author takes me.

Excellent review! I love murder mysteries and I am one who loves the "edge of your seat" story! I definitely plan to read these two books. I have to find out who murdered Black and also if his diaries were ever found! The story may be fiction but I'm sure this type of scenario happens in real life too. Thanks for the insight into this story and helping me make up my mind!

Thanks for pointing out that the book does not revolve around sexual scenes. It sounds like a well balanced and exciting read. Thank you for such a wonderful review.

I love that you mention how faced paced the novels are as this is something essential to me when reading this genre. This is a great review which gets me excited to read.

Your review of the book makes it even more interesting! Peter trying to uncover Black’s death is definitely nerve wrecking as the clients try to silence anyone about the case. Also glad that prostitution was not the central theme of the story. Thanks for your review!

In addition to the characters, I loved the way Morris lined up drama after drama in this dizzying saga where enemies become friends and allies secretly plot your revenge. He provided one twist after another. These books were so fast-paced that I was able to devour both of them over just a few days. I could find nothing to dislike about either of these novels.
I love this kind of twists where the least expected character gives you a surprise. We often forget that people can be unpredictable.
This seems like a great thriller, it's especially important for me that character development is not overlooked.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!
