Today's BOTD is a thriller with elements of mystery, suspense, and romance. The vivid descriptions and realistic characters bring the story to life, making readers feel they, too, are part of the detective unit solving the case! I've downloaded my copy. Thank you for the great review!

I like the books I read to have vivid characterization and imagery, and it sounds like this one fits the bill. Unfortunately, murder mysteries just aren't my cup of tea. Thanks for the detailed review!

I love a good murder mystery, though my standards are really high since I’ve read all of the JD Robb series. However, this book sounds like it has a great combination of intrigue and romance to go with the murder mystery. All of these are elements to a good story. Definitely going to give it a try.

That novel seems to be trivializing, it always captures me the mysteries, the plot and that kind of suspense, I'll take it.

Another crime detective novel. The fact that a drug was found in the pocket does that make guilty?

A book about a murder investigation nicely described and narrated will make a reader not want to put the book down. And this book is just how it's done. I am into it.

A good crime thriller is just what the doctor ordered. I will be checking this one out in a little more depth soon. Great review. It sounds like the book keeps you guessing, and that is always a bonus.

Detective thrillers are a pleasure to read; they can effectively rid me of boredom every time I pick one up.

I'll be sure to add this to my "Want to Read" shelf. Thank you for the insightful review

Nice! Seems like a common detective story but the review highlighted the suspense, intrigue, romance and the detailed, step-by-step logical or “math problem” challenge and satisfaction in an investigative work. The descriptive style will also make the reader immersed if not truly emotionally involved in the story, my opinion. Nice!

Was it just an accident, or was he murdered? How would Detectives Hogan and Russell solve this murder mystery? I can't wait to find out the answers to these exciting questions. Congrats on the BOTD.
