I enjoy detective movies set in eras such as the sixties. It will be interesting to see them play out in a novel. I am interested in the book, but some of the scenes mentioned in the review have me on the fence about it. Thank you for a well-written review.

Richard Marker, Chief Security Officer at the Adelphi Hotel had previous experience of working as a detective and police. He keeps records of his staff and those who reside in the property. He was very much attracted to Sandrine Parte. Whether he fulfills his desire or not? The book starts with a mysterious event. I liked the way the author tried to explain the background of the character. Professionally edited books require less checking. Congratulations on BOTD. Looking forward to reading it.
