Re: Review of Children of the Eighth Day

“Children of the Eight Day” by Mark Graves is a 392-page story about Vampires that encompasses several hundred years. The current tale takes place in the United States and it is a good vs. evil type of story. Alexander is a vampire that needs blood but he is trying to stop other vampires from killing off the human race. The tale jumps to Carl Lewis being kidnapped and transformed into a vampire. The official reviewer found too many errors and gave it a 3 out of 4-star rating. A professional editor could edit the book and it would change to a 4 out of 4-star rating. An interesting twist on vampires since Alexander is trying to save the human race from being wiped out by blood-hungry vampires.

I like the use of funding journals to introduce the mystery! It brings to mind Never Ending Story for some reason. I don't know about vampire books and YA. I may be more Salem's Lot and Interview with a Vampire than Twilight and Vampire Diaries. Your review makes it sound, though, like maybe this isn't the typical YA Vampire book.
I would also be annoyed with errors. though. Hopefully it gets a second edition with better editor.

Although vampire stories are not my thing, I'm curious about Alexander in his attempt to save mankind. I like that it has a mix of suspense and mystery; however, the intense violence might take me off. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

This book seems interesting and something worth reading. Sometimes, it's good we face our lives and when we notice things usual around us we are to report to the authorities. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I am no vampire fan, so I'm not excited about this story. I wonder how Alexander gets his blood supply if he doesn’t want to harm humans.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller story about a boy who finds a collection of journeys written by someone who claims to be a vampire. What will the journals say? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This sounds scary and suspenseful. From seeing a flickering light in vacant houses across to street to finding the journals of a vampire, then to being watched in secret.

A tale about good vampire chooses to fight evil vampires to save mankind sounds to be very suspenseful. Not quite a fan of vampire-themed books, but I think this would be engaging and worth reading. I'm not sure if I would like to read this book regarding to the bad editing and the profanity contents. still wanna know the reason behind the title, tho. Thank you for a helpful and honest review.

This is a wonderfully written review. I love the idea of good versus evil however I’m not a fan of gore so I figured I better read the sample and see the extent of the violence the reviewer warned about. I read the twilight series and enjoyed it because it didn’t focus on the gross stuff. However, after reading the free sample of this book, I decided it is way too graphic for me. I’m glad the reviewer mentioned it.

This review is explicit. I think vampires are just created to tickle our imagination. I don't like to read scary stories. Congratulations on BOTD.

This sounds like an interesting story, but I seem to have outgrown vampire stories after bingeing on them early in life. However, this might be a book from which to take a healthy bite for those who enjoy the genre.

This historical fantasy focuses on a teenage boy name John Jones from Savannah, Georgia. His curiosity led him to the empty house across the street. He broke in and became a part of a dark world of vampires. The book sample and book review will suck you in...

Good review, as you stated what you liked and disliked about the review. Vampires are not normally my cup of tea. I will have to put this one aside for now as I have too many books to read.

'Official Review: Children of the Eighth Day: An Alexander McGill Adventure' serves as a guide to the engrossing action thriller narrative for readers. It provides the readers with a clear concept of the plot of the story. The point that this is a tale of a vampire, Alexander, who craves blood and must obtain it to survive is worth mentioning in the review. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the underlying theme of the story is good versus evil is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the author's work is intriguing and suspenseful!

Can there be such a thing as good and evil vampires? I think there are enough examples of both, albeit for different reasons. I'm interested to find out why in this book.
