This book is unique as it discusses a subject that is not commonly discussed in novels. I like its thought-provoking and factual nature. The author has done a brilliant job. I've always said that many things that are not essentially good have been made legal in our world today and this book shows how the resulting effect of one of this could be disastrous.

An interesting BoTD selection. We thank the author for her extensive research in the area of online gambling and the casinos.
Anything done in excess is no good for the soul and with this novel readers will get to better appreciate the psychology of an addict. Looking forward to reading this book in it's entirety.

Gambling addiction has been around for a long time. I'm glad there is a book that focuses on it as well as examines its correlation to suicide. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

Gambling never attracted me ,though I found the throbbing night life on the Las Vegas strip quite exciting. I am going to pass on the book. Thanks for the review!

Not only that I found the storyline of this book interesting, I think the author invested some research time into it by giving the statistical data of concerning addictions and the government's involvement keeping gambling profitable. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!

"Trapped in Pairadice" is a story about casino and online gambling habits. Geraldine Major inherited the Majority Rules corporation and casino after her father's death. She then developed a new online gambling platform named Pairadice. Cara Davenport works for the CDC and after attending a funeral for an online gambler addict that committed suicide. She begins her research and then her boss tells her the CDC is not interested in online gambling and if she continues, she will lose her job. Rather puzzling why, the CDC is not interested in studying the correlation between online gambling and suicide. Will Cara continue her research or buckle under to the CDC? There must be a reason for the CDC's position regarding online gambling and it could be the government does not want casino or online gambling to be unprofitable probably because of the tax revenue they would lose. The fact that gambling is now legal at sport's stadium answers the question since there has to be sizeable tax revenue coming from every card table and slot machine. A book that most gamblers need to read so they understand how risky gambling can be. Very good review.

I was hesitant when I saw the cover, but the review completely wowed me. Why is it a problem for Cara to find out more? Will Geraldine be behind this? I want to read amore of this story!

I can boldly say from experience that Gambling is addictive. Most times, it requires a higher force to be able to stop completely. I'm still indecisive on whether to read the book but I'm curious to know if Cara was able to make the connection between suicide and online gambling. I'm glad to note that the book was well edited. Congratulations on BOTD.

Addiction to gambling has actually caused a lot more problems than we'd like to discuss. The book is really thought provoking as not all addicted gamblers would find it easy to admit that they might have a problem.
Nice review.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. This is the first time I come across a book that delves into gambling addiction with such immense details in the form of a fictional story. I am definitely adding this one to my reading list.

"Trapped in Pairadice" by Becky Bronson. An interesting story book talks about gambling which has been an habit, both the young and old, male and female. Most times we don't know the consequences until it has gotten to the level that we have used up the last dime and run into depths. Congrats on your #BOTD.

I have always known gambling to be addictive, I would therefore love to read this book to know more about it. You have mentioned in your review that the machines ring every thirty seconds to deceive gamblers into thinking someone has won. I would like to know if I have been living a lie to. This is a good book that I can't wait to read. Congratulations on BOTD.
