Was he really a serial killer? I don't get why someone would think he could cleanse his society of evil. That would distort the balance between good and evil. I don't think I would want to read this.

This sounds like an intriguing crime thriller that would make the reader think about the gray area between good and evil and whether the ends can justify the means when it comes to ridding the world of such things as terrorism, child trafficking, drug dealers, etc. Even though the review says it can be read as a standalone, I think I would still want to read the other books in the trilogy before this one. This looks like a great crime book. If someone is killing serial killers, child molestors, and drug dealers, are they really a serial killer or a justice warrior? I guess this depends on the perspective of the reader. Thanks for the great review!

Thank you for your review. I did think what the author wrote in the forward was interesting. I am curious to know why when he was trying to be a peacemaker, he was labeled a serial killer and then was free of that label. I will have to think about this one whether I want to read it or not.
