"The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" by Riano D. McFarland impresses with depth, intertwining love, magic, and mysticism flawlessly. A 5-star recommendation with minor caveats.

To me the review seems kinda plaa as in i guess you could say but it gets the point across! So I guess that what matters! This book seems like my type of read. I love the supernatural surprises and drama plus a love story = me in bed reading a book all day!!! Haha! I will be adding this one to my “book shelf” :techie-studyingbrown: :techie-reference:

Great review of "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" by Riano D. McFarland! Including magic, romance and mystery in a young adult novel is guaranteed to get this book noticed and read. It seems as though the theme of this book is that of friendship including the realization that one must always be and trust themselves.

“The Curse of the Mystic Lakes” by Riano D. McFarland is a fictional story that begins with Stephan asking Maribelle to go to a Mystic Lake party with him. At the party a very possessive Clarissa took a picture of the two because she was angry that they were there together. Clarissa sent the picture to her mother who then sent it to Dan Marquette, Stephen’s father, who did not approve of their relationship. Dan then came to the party and caused a scene by confronting Maribelle and he told her things that upset her so she ran and jumped into the lake. When Stephen could not see Maribelle, he dove into the lake to find her. In addition to the embarrassing confrontation, the story included magic, sorcery, warlocks and mystical beings. One must read the book to find out if Stephen finds Maribelle in the lake and how magic and sorcery are involved in the outcome of the story. I have added this book to my to-read shelf since I want to learn how magic and sorcery affected the relationship and if Dan Marquette accepted or continued to disavow the love affair.

The review is good and makes me eager to start reading the book. I wonder if love and magic can coexist together and how can magic and sorcery can be used to save love. Iam interested in reading about love, romance, magic and sorcery, warlock working interchangeable for the good course.

I love magic and anywhere I sniff it I put my head there, according to your review of "The Curse of the Mystic Lakes" by Riano D. McFarland, Maribelle and Stephan's love story seems to be strong and unique because it's hard to find people with such strong affection and connection in a relationship, the part you showed how Ingrid Rowe handles her magic for powers for good intentions and love to help others gives the book a wonderful feeling. Though I too didn't like Clarissa's behaviors and dominance, I still feel good about the book and would love to get myself a copy.

The Curse of The Mystic Lakes

A story about love, magic, and hatred all in one! The book best describes how real life relationships are or can be. There is always someone secretly hating or disliking someone for their own personal gain/preference. After reviewing the book I want to read the full story. The insight is very clear to the readers.

A love story with a mix of sexual activities and sorcery/magic? I'm all in.
Also since you did not mention much about Ingrid Rowe, I'm curious to know more about her and her powers. I read the sample pages and they seem intresting.
Thanks for the review, it's good.

I'm particularly interested in reading how Riano blended magic into this book, which doesn't seem to be cast on a utopian land. Thanks for the thorough review.
