Crime and mystery novels have their own appeal, despite not being my usual choice of books. It's nice to find such a well developed plot and multiple stories within the pages. I am curious about the relation between Fiona and Tom. Thanks for this excellent review!

Good review, I agree that this might be the best book in the series so far. I don't know if I'd rate if a 5/5 myself but your points are well thought

I found this crime mystery to be totally engrossing. The details of Fiona and Tom's lives sets the stage for the drama. Investigating two separate crimes, they face some real danger: the horrendous murder of Erin Wright and the mysterious disappearance of five-year-old Marcie Myers, years earlier. Fiona is self-confident and determined, Tom is tortured by his mother's declining health and the promise he made to find out what happened to Marcie. I am very interested to finish this book. Great review! :tiphat:

Your review is beautifully written and captures every intriguing detail. Muller delivers a masterful tale of deception and family drama, with a side of sisterly love and the quest for justice. The murder of Erin sets the stage for a twisting, turning ride that will have readers white-knuckling the pages. Laney's relentless drive to uncover the truth and avenge her sister's death will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. A true page-turner that will leave a lasting impression.

Time for Justice by Susan C. Muller is a fantastic book to read. Fiona and Tom's experiences in life are ways apart, but fate is bringing them together. I'd love to read how it all pans out. Thanks for the review.

Fiona and Tom seem appealing characters. The coincidence that they are attacked by the same man is striking. There is also a mystery surrounding Erin's murder. Sounds intriguing.

Part of a series, "Time for Justice" by Susan C Muller, is also a stand-alone book with complex characters that the reader immediately likes because they are so human and flawed but working on themselves and their lives on every page. This is a mystery that takes quite a lot of work to solve and involves the intricacies of the American legal system. Many characters are involved but the main action involves just Tom and Fiona so the story can flow directly into the mind of the reader. Thank you.

I haven't read a murder mystery in a while, and this sounds like a book I would enjoy despite the skinny-dog scene. Thank you for your introduction, and congrats on BOTD.
