Between the review and the small sample I read, I know this book is not for me. One of my turnoffs in reading books is juvenile (sophomoric) humor. Generally, I enjoy gritty crime books, as long as I only read them occasionally (I get depressed if only reading them!). However, this book seems so dark, but with no redeeming qualities, beyond an action packed story. Thanks for the good review! And I am glad you enjoyed the book!

"Since his childhood he has admired serial killers and now he has become one. Every one of his kills is a tribute to a famous serial killer, and he travels throughout the USA to become the greatest serial killer the world has ever known. "

I am not into criminal thrillers but one question that comes into my mind is what would make a person from such a young age admire what is wrong in society? Those could be the answers I would seek to have if I get access to the book.

The reviewer has done a good job.

Your review was quite interesting but I think I'll pass on this one. While I occasionally enjoy reading crime series, I don't find any of these characters particularly appealing neither do I subscribe to some thought processes subtly garnered from the plot. Not to mention the creepier-than-creepy cover, an instant turn-off for me. The flaws may not have been such a hindrance to my reading. Glad you enjoyed the book.

Great review. It is an interesting serial killer book. Too bad that it was not edited properly. But still it did not stop someone from reading it. It has a unique context and describes the appearance of the characters very well. It also provided us an idea on the mind set of both the criminal and detective.

Thanks for the review, it made me want to read the full book, and I loved the fact that reading though it made me feel as if am one of the characters. It's like I'm participating in the events just by reading. Wish to know how it ended.

Personally, I enjoy reading dark mysteries that tell stories of serial killers and murderers. Sadly, this book left me a tiny bit disappointed.

I'll admit, I'm a bad critique - I only read about 5 pages before I gave up and decided to start writing. The word flow was so vague and fast that it left me confused and uninterested. There were too many details that had absolutely no impact on the story, and it seemed like a lack of detail on characters, plot, and setting. The flow of the book was almost too casual as well as a bit awkward.

I feel like the author is so close to reaching their full potential, but this fell just a bit short for me.

It was actually really good. I'm not normally a big fan of books going back and forth with 2 or more stories happening granted they are intertwined but it confuses me sometimes. I like reading violence and adult content if it's written well together. When the author was describing Ryan and Lea I automatically thought of the TV show "Quantico" which is actually good.

Thanks for sharing your review. Also the things you didn't like about the book. I'm glad with the few errors that it had, that it was still hard to put down. It sounds like a book I'd enjoy reading.

Miss AliceofX, your work is very amazing, but I think you don't pay attention to other characters

A book about the story of a psychopath who admired serial killers until he becomes one of them when he grow up. This book is good for those who love reading this kind of genre. Congrats on this review.
