I enjoy detective nooks and reading one with a bit of super powers in it would be fun. Being able to perceive the word through light and sound is a unique ability and I look forward to reading more on this. Congratulations on making a book of the day.

Perceiving the world through the lens of "the canvas" sounds interesting, and I like that it helped him uncover hidden truths and secrets around Sandra's grandfather's pocket watch.

"A Kestrel Circles" by G. Michael Smith follows the life of a detective, formerly known as Mathew Brown, who experiences the world through a unique sensory "canvas" of light and sound. This ability makes him highly effective in solving mysteries, such as the case of Sandra Beal's missing grandfather and his elusive gold pocket watch. Adding it to my reading list.

The detailed synopsis of "A Kestrel Circles" by G Michael Smith paints a compelling picture of a detective story filled with intriguing mysteries, complex characters, and a protagonist with a unique sensory perception. The concept of perceiving the world through a metaphorical canvas of light and sound, referred to as "the canvas," adds a distinctive and captivating element to the narrative.
A must read as per my opinion.

Hi @ Christina Holtzclaw, I just read your comments on the official review of “A Kestrel Circles” by G Michael Smith and found the book to be so much more than your comments. The book follows the life of Mathew Brown who has a very unique ability to see the world through a sensory canvas of light and sound. This “canvas” has made him very proficient in finding just about anything. The story begins with a woman named Sandra Beal who asks Mathew to find her grandfather’s gold watch. As he begins his investigation, he learns that Sandra’s grandfather was a WWII photographer that became a spy and disappeared during the war. Finding the gold watch was a real test of Brown’s perseverance and he faced dangerous adversaries and many obstacles. As the story proceeds to its climax, he faces higher stakes than expected and is involved in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. One needs to read the book to learn if he was successful in finding the gold watch. A well-written story that shows the power in the human mind. @Mrlefty0706
