Another thriller to look forward to! I like that you pointed out the character development. It’s always interesting when a character is well-suited for a role, as it allows readers to enjoy the story better. I would like to know what the disrespectful act was and how it’s possible to make amends for such issues. Thank you for the detailed review, and congratulations to the author on being selected as BOTD!
I enjoy books with unique storylines, and Ralph Monti deserves praise for bringing this one to life. I've only read a few pages and some reviews, but I’m already intrigued to see how Rocky Delmonico will make amends for his actions at the funeral. The writing seems outstanding, and I’m excited to read this book! Huge congratulations on BOTD!

Thank you for such a insightful and engrossing review of “Shooting Bogies” You summarized the plot straightforwardly. I appreciate how you described Rocky as an imperfect but relatable character, which makes him feel real. The blend of suspense and action, the thrilling pace, the exceptional editing as well as the twist and character details that add to the excitement, make this fantastic crime thriller worth reading.
Hi @Benjamin Eilenokhuoria, I just read your comments on the official review of “Shooting Bogies” by Ralph Monti and I found the book to be so much more than your description. This is a story about a man named Rocky Delmonico, a very overweight big-money golf hustler that gets in trouble at a funeral for a mafioso in his neighborhood. He made a terrible mistake by disrespecting a tradition that traveled from Italy to the U.S. with the mafia that involved Gino’s mother diving into the open grave of her dead husband. Rocky burst into laughter while others looked in horror at him because they knew this was totally unacceptable behavior and very disrespectful of the grieving mob family. His friend Pipe told him he needed to go see Gino and make amends for disrespecting his mother, Anna, who was well known as a crazy pit bull of a woman that was five feet tall but would take on anyone. He did not want to go because he needed to take his mom to the doctor but Pipe told him he had to go see Gino. This is a crime thriller that involves the mafia and their families. Monti used action, dark humor and suspense throughout the story and it keeps the reader totally involved. Character development is excellent and each character is detailed to the point where readers can actually visualize the person. I highly recommend this book. @Mrlefty0706
