I like it's well edited. The theme of witchcraft and brutality though turns me off. Thanks for the review.

I enjoy an intense murder mystery with elements of witchcraft and suspense. I anticipate that the unwavering bonds of love, friendship, and family will triumph over all adversities. I also enjoyed reading the review, especially the part about the tea recipes, which piqued my interest. Congratulations on the book of the day!

This book wonderfully mixes chronic executioner thrills with black magic. Beginning with a chilling vision of a little kid's risk, it follows Arista, presently a grown-up with otherworldly powers, as she faces a progression of fierce killings in her town. The tension is masterfully kept up with moving viewpoints and distinctive subtleties. The incorporation of tea recipes and a sweet sentiment add additional appeal. Notwithstanding a few realistic substance, a grasping read closes on an exhilarating cliffhanger. Strongly suggested for enthusiasts of secret, thrill ride, and extraordinary components.

Arista learns white magic from her aunt. She meets her friend Michelle, who gets murdered afterwards. Soon, other girls in town are mysteriously murdered. Is a serial killer on the loose? Or is someone using black magic? This story is a perfect blend of murder, mystery, and witchcraft.

Arista comes from a bloodline of witches and her special powers makes her the target of malicious attacks, most surprisingly from her uncle Fergus. The ensuing drama and family feud makes for an enthralling read as the author tackles dark themes of betrayal, violence, and murder. Love and friendship lightens the mood amidst the chaos.

Thank you for such an in-depth review of Murder Under Redwood Moon! I’m intrigued by the blend of dark horror, witchcraft, and the psychological thriller elements you mentioned. The idea of combining a serial killer plot with black and white magic is unique, and it sounds like the author skillfully maintains the suspense throughout. I'm especially drawn to the way the book balances gruesome horror with meaningful themes like family bonds and mental health. It sounds like a story that delivers both thrills and thoughtful moments. The detailed descriptions and the shifting perspectives also seem like they would make for an immersive reading experience. I'm curious to see how Arista's powers and her connection to Fergus play out in the story, and I’m now adding this book to my reading list.

Can't say I encountered many stories in the fantasy genre involving the "sick mind of a serial killer", because mostly it is left to physical crime thrillers and I quite enjoy the profiling process leading to the uncovering of the criminal. Magic and other supernatural staff certainly will throw the wrench into the familiar structure of investigation, but I am willing to give it a chance to surprise me. Congrats on BOTD!

This is an interesting story line, and having a touch of romance, violence, witchcraft, and black magic makes it more interesting. I wonder the reason behind the deaths of the girls and if Fergus is part of it.

Murder Under Redwood Moon sounds like a spine-chilling read that perfectly blends horror and witchcraft with the intensity of a serial killer plot. I’m particularly intrigued by Arista’s story, navigating both her supernatural abilities and the terror closing in on her. The balance of dark magic with the divine power of white witchcraft, as described, feels like a unique twist that adds depth to the horror. With so many five-star reviews, this book definitely deserves a spot on my reading list! Congratulations to Sherri Lynn Dodd for creating such an enthralling and highly rated story!
