The amazon review and the beginning of this book state that this isn't an erotica, but I still don't think this is my type of book. You've mentioned in your review the profanity and just by reading the first few pages, I can see that you aren't lying. I'm glad you enjoyed this book enough to give it 4 stars, but I'll have to pass on this one. Great job on your review!

Thanks for your review. You gave a much clearer idea of the plot than the Amazon blurb did! I don’t think this erotic thriller is for me though - gangsters and warped erotic minds are not my favourite reading topics...

Bound

Raw! Not the usual characters of middle class life, or even upper class. Rather a view of those on the edge of society. A look into the lives of those whom we don't usually meet, or know. Great stuff!

I'm kind of tired of the erotic genre, so I think I'll pass on this one.

Wow, I find it interesting how you liked none of the characters, yet they made the story all the more exciting. I'm not interested in reading Bound in the slightest due to the explicit sexual content. Thanks for the review :)

Bound by Michael Campbell

The preface warns you if you are offended by certain things you shouldn't read because this book will offend you. I am not offended by the content but I couldn't even get through the first chapter of this book. At first I thought this would be a great read but it kinda just runs on and there's no good flow. I wish it was a little more interesting because I think conceptually it could be a good read.

Great review! I wasn't sure if this book would be to my liking, but due to your detailed review, I think I might give it a chance. I do like a good erotic novel, and the fact that this one also includes mystery as well was very intriguing to me. It might be a little TOO crazy for me, but I'm definitely going to try it. Thanks!

I read this book, and I found it to be confusing and poorly written. I constantly felt like I was missing important information about the characters and their relationships, almost like this book was part of a series that I wasn’t privy to. I thought the concert was interesting, and some of the characters had a lot of potential, but it just didn’t work for me. I’m surprised you enjoyed it so much.

I’m not huge fan of mysteries in the first place, and one that’s dark and has unlikeable characters doesn’t interest me. Thanks for the review!

Erotic novels are not really my thing, but I did have a good laugh at the preface! This is an interesting subject with complex characters - congratulations on #BOTD

For an erotic novel it sounds like it is extremely well rounded, be it in the variety of encounters, the complicated plot, or the tense interpersonal relationships. Ginger's adventure looks like it is full of crime, drugs, and thrilling adventures.

I get very uncomfortable when books have a lot of sex in them which it sounds like this one does. A bit is okay, but much more is too much for me. I do not think this one is for me.

From the sample I read, I agree with you that the themes are adult themes and if BDSM, threesomes, and pain being portrayed as desirable are not themes you like reading about this book is not for you. The author seems to jump right into the story from the very beginning. Thank you for a good review.
