I like your review especially in the format of a court case. It seems to me that you thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and learning new words. I like that there is an easy relationship between the characters that is present throughout the story. I like that you broke down the sections into elements that you liked about the book as if it was evidence in a case.

Very nice review that definitely makes me want to read this book. Who doesn’t love a good whodunnit? I especially like the stories I can’t figure out, so it sounds like this one may fall a bit short but still sounds like it’s worth a read.

I love this review and omg who would know or think to check on the year in which a disease was identified and named? You are too brilliant. I love mysteries and add in a cold case, that just makes it so much better. I really really want to read this and I'm so glad you gave it a sterling review. Someone needs to redo the cover art though. I never would have given this a thorough look because I think the cover is poorly done.

Goodnight Irene is a detective novel involving a case of murder. The review points out what actually the book entails. Despite the single blip on research of the Legionnaires’ disease, I believe lovers of crime stories will like this one.

I enjoyed the courtroom style of your review. For a murder mystery, it sounds intriguing. Yet, I have to pass on this one. Nightmares soon follow when I attempt to read these types of stories. The better the narrative; the worse the dreams.

I don't like the cover either. Coffins floating in a blood river had me thinking it was a vampire book, until I saw the title.

I like books by Agatha Christie and will definitely like this one, too. The book must be a real work of art - to place all the characters into a single room, and conduct an investigation, examine all the evidence to stop an attempted murder, besides adding to this the possibilty to solve an unsolved rape and murder from 20 years ago. The book sounds really, really exciting. I downloaded my copy (thanks for making it free) and congratulations on becoming BOTD!
