At times, the reader may shudder at the arrogance of Jay, as he nonchalantly makes some of his life-altering decisions. Yet, at other times, the reader will sympathize with Jay’s fear, and utter despair, as the consequences hit him head on.
I love it when books have characters that don't polarise your thinking, and you don't completely like some characters and completely hate other ones. It's the sign, I think, of a very skilled writer. Thank you for this review, and I'm glad you enjoyed the book so much, Bluebird03!

It's interesting to see that the author himself had been a lawyer. Your review does great justice to what I feel to be a great book.

Sounds a little too politically focused for my taste, so I'll probably skip this one. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like an interesting novel. This seems to be a unique take on the mix of politics and religion. I'm glad the author succeeds in creating an emotional story all the way through.

I like complex, well-written novels. I like them better when they are short. This book fits the bill, and it has piqued my interest. Thanks for a great review.
