Yes, I also appreciated the author toning down Black's career. Thank you so much, kandscreeley, for stopping by and posting! :)

Janalyn101 wrote: 01 Jul 2019, 08:16 Thanks for the great review! I’ve been wanting to read these books, but thought it was about prostitution in men and hard positions using prostitution. Thanks to your review I know they are not. I am definitely going to read this book now. Again thanks for the great review! :tiphat:
Yes, I was also pleased to see that the book did not center around prostitution. Thank you, Janalyn, for reading my review and commenting! :)

I'm weirdly picky about thrillers so this isn't my thing. I will say though, that I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review and how much you liked the portrayal of characters like Peter and the Judge.

"The Judge, Part 1 and Part 2" by Ian R B Morris seems to be an interesting story with intrigue, mystery, and adventure. From the tone of your review, it does sound like a great story. I am glad that they do not dwell too much on the prostitution angle. I might give this one a look, thanks.

I was relieved to see that prostitution did not play a major role also. Thank you for stopping by and commenting! :)

A legal thriller revolving around a lawyer investigating the murder of a male prostitute sounds intriguing. Good character portrayal, drama, and suspense make an excited ride. A pity about the errors, but at least they didn't interfere your reading. It is odd that the book is divided into two parts. Thank you for the review!
