Amnesia makes it interesting to know just what exactly is 'bout the story.
But it was somewhat a trigger to my past tho but not anyone's fault. ty!

I'm disappointed that Mary Ann is so weakly developed, considering she is such a major character. But otherwise this sounds like an exciting read! Thanks for your review!

The amnesia combined with the loss of his wife tug at the emotions. The medical trial in the DR swing the pendulum over to hope. This looks like a thrilling read. Thanks for this exciting recommendation!

This sounds like a breath of fresh air. A different plot without the usual damsel in distress element.

A thriller revolving around an ex CIA agent who lost his memory sounds suspenseful. Fast-paced plot, mix of genres, and twists make for a good read. That it was well edited is another plus. A pity about gratuitous scenes and weak character development of Mary Ann. Not for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

The Adults in the Room by Jeffrey D. Mechling sounds quite interesting. I can't help but feel for Tim Hall. Was he able to recover his lost memory? Did he finally confess his love to Mary Anne? This, I will find out. Super amazing review.
Books are beautiful.

I like both Homeland and The Americans, so I'm sorely tempted to read this. If you'd thrown in The Bourne Trilogy as well, I'd have bought a copy already!

I have watched both Homeland and The Americans and I have enjoyed the Amazon sample of this book. This, together with the argument of a good plot and of being kept in a continuous guessing state make me a serious candidate reader of The Adults in the Room.
Thank you for the thorough review!
