I agree! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!Everydayadventure15 wrote: ↑08 Oct 2019, 08:13 I like the premise of this book. The story is definitely something I would be interested in reading. I'll take into consideration that this is the first novel, maybe the author will improve character development as he writes more books. I like to see growth in writing skills through a series. It shows that the author cares about their stories and the characters they write about. Thanks for the great review!

I know exactly what you mean, and I can't stand it either.
As usual, I love the review; it's just the right amount of descriptive. I can picture the novel as a TV series (there are quite a lot of investigative dramas, aren't there?) I'd probably watch. It is worthy of acknowledgement that the author chose a protagonist who suffers from a mental condition, effectively shedding light on mental health issues, and how they affect everyone.
I like how the mobsters have matching names; it's pretty cute.

I agree. I tend to avoid books that hang on a cliffhanger. Thanks for reading my review and commenting!

I think it would make a great TV series. Thanks for your observations and kind comments!Dentarthurdent wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 12:05 "I don’t care for stories where the characters know they are in danger but do nothing about it."

I agree! Thanks, unamilagra, for stopping by and commenting!unamilagra wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 18:36 I always like when crime/thriller type books manage to incorporate a meaningful theme in with the story. I like that this novel covers mental illness, although it might be better executed if the characters had a bit more depth. Thanks for a great review!
